Our Leadership
Elders
Collective Church follows an elder-led model of church leadership. Our elder board of directors currently has 7 members made up of pastors and other ministry leaders.
Cory Pileggi, Lead Pastor
Cory is a husband, dad, and someone who loves helping people discover the love of Jesus. He’s been married to his wife, Meg, for 11 years, and together they’re raising five kids. Their home has also been a place of care for many others—they’ve fostered more than a dozen children over the years, with three becoming permanent members of their family. Cory is a graduate of Liberty University and has a deep passion for church planting. He’s spent years helping support and launch new churches, and loves seeing communities grow around the message of Jesus. That same passion led to the planting of Collective Church in Kinston, NC.sus.

Deacons
Collective Church also follows a deacon model of servant leadership in the church. There are currently 5 deacons that serve in this capacity.

Meg Pileggi, Kids
Meg is a passionate leader who deeply cares about the next generation. She loves investing in kids and creating spaces where they feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow. Meg is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute and Liberty University, and her background in social work and foster care has given her a special heart for helping children experience healing and hope.
Her desire is that every child who is part of Collective Kids would find a place where they belong and have the opportunity to discover who Jesus is. In addition to serving families and kids through the church, Meg also serves as the Head of School for the Collective Leadership Academy, where she enjoys helping students grow in both character and leadership.
