Collective Church
Our Story
A New Church Plant for Kinston
Collective Church started as a handful of people sent to plant a church in Kinston in the Spring of 2023. We quickly built relationships in the community through outreach, service, and our free snow cones. In the fall of 2023, we started our first preview services at the UEC Movie Theatre and on January 7th, 2024 we officially launched weekly Sunday gatherings there. We just recently moved our meeting location to Spilman Memorial Baptist Church at 1900 Queens Rd!
A Legacy of Churches
Planting Churches
Collective Church exists because of churches planting churches. Cory spent time at Restore Church in Jacksonville, NC, a church that sent a planter to Goldsboro, NC. Cory was a part of planting that church, Canvas Church, before being sent to plant Collective in Kinston. One of our greatest goals as a church is to continue this legacy of churches planting churches.
Our Supporters
We have a number of great supporting organizations and churches that make it possible for Collective Church to exist. We are incredibly thankful for Church Planters of ENC, Waypoint Church Partners, Passion for Planting, and over a dozen churches that allow us to reach people with the gospel of Jesus here in Kinston.
