Starting a new year is an opportunity to refocus our lives on what truly matters. Instead of relying on our own limited understanding, we’re called to follow God’s wisdom, which is timeless and perfect. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to “trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
As we face decisions, challenges, and opportunities, seeking God’s guidance through prayer and Scripture allows us to walk in His purpose and peace.
Equally important is finding and growing in community within the church. God designed us for relationships, and the local church provides a space to connect, encourage, and support one another in faith. Hebrews 10:24-25 urges us to “consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds…not giving up meeting together.”
A church community helps us stay accountable, grow spiritually, and experience God’s love in tangible ways. This year, prioritize seeking God’s wisdom and investing in meaningful, Christ-centered relationships.
